What is God’s Design for Sex? Is God’s design for sex good? In today’s climate of mass confusion, are there any solid reference points for understanding human sexuality? In this talk, Josh tackles the tough questions surrounding sex and sexuality. Using Scripture, science, and personal testimony, Josh holds up God’s design for sexuality as the best path for human flourishing.

Option 1: This presentation will examine the modern attempt to revise the traditional view of the Bible and same-sex behavior. There are some today who claim that homosexuality is compatible with a Biblical view of monogamous, loving relationships. Is this true? In this talk, Josh graciously reinforces the traditional view of homosexuality by interacting with some of the modern attempts to reinterpret the historic, Biblical view.

Option 2: How did our culture come to think of sexuality as an identity? What do we say to someone who claims “Love is Love” and “Gay people are born that way?” In this session, Josh will explain how we should respond to our gay and gay-affirming neighbors with a firm balance of both grace in truth. By using the Bible, science, and personal experience this presentation will give you the information you need to navigate this complex and emotional subject.

What does the Bible say about transgenderism and the genuine struggle of gender-dysphoria? How can faithful Christians respond with compassion and clarity to such a difficult, controversial topic? In this session, Josh will use Scripture, science, and personal stories to illustrate how God’s design for gender is good for all people. He’ll also give you some practical advice for how to engage this subject with the wisdom and compassion of Christ.
